This is a rather interesting topic that has came up, and Miami immigration attorney, Mari Ribeiro, does a great job explaining this important question:

Before COVID-19, you had a specific period of time to respond to your RFE or NOID. So, what happens when you receive one during COVID-19? Does it effect your time to respond? Do you have additional time?

She explains that if you received a NOID or RFE within the dates of March 1st – May 1st, you get an extra 60 days.
